Senior UX Designer

Hiring: Senior UX Designer

We are looking for a talented Senior UX Designer to support federal digital initiatives focused on delivering intuitive, accessible, and user-centred experiences.

In this role, you will work closely with designers, researchers, and Agile product teams to build solutions that are useful, usable, and impactful for federal users, including the public, employees, and policymakers.

🎯 What You Will Do

• Collaborate with UX leadership, product owners, and researchers to implement UX strategy aligned with business goals
• Participate in research and apply user insights to design solutions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Design and contribute to data visualization dashboards and analytics-driven interfaces
• Work closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure successful implementation
• Communicate design decisions clearly and advocate for user-centred design
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and iterative design processes
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (Section 508 / WCAG) and follow design systems

🔑 What We Are Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in UX or product design
• Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field (required)
• Strong experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Sketch
• Hands-on experience designing dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI (required)
• Experience working with data visualization and analytics-driven interfaces
• Ability to work with cross-functional and distributed teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in Agile environments

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience working on federal or public sector projects
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards
• Experience working with data analytics teams

• This role requires working within the United States
• Candidates should be eligible to work on federal projects and background clearance processes
