About Irys
Irys is a legal technology platform built on proprietary infrastructure, serving 300+ law firms and organizations with predominantly product-led growth. We are scaling GTM this summer and need someone to own the marketing function, build strategy around each persona, and execute it every single day.
The Role
We will hand you ICP persona profiles, signal definitions, and a marketing playbook foundation. Your job is to build the marketing strategy around each persona, prioritize campaigns and channels, run ads, coordinate vendors, manage events, produce collateral, and track performance. As volume grows, you will bring in junior support and build the team around you.
What You Will Own
Marketing Strategy and Prioritization
- Own marketing strategy for each ICP persona, built on data and signal frameworks provided by the GTM Lead
- Make weighted prioritization decisions on campaigns, channels, and spend allocation day to day
- Develop positioning, messaging, and campaign briefs for each target segment
- Build and maintain the marketing calendar with clear priorities, owners, and deadlines
- Identify what is working, cut what is not, and reallocate resources accordingly
Paid Acquisition
- Own and optimize Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns end to end
- Manage ad spend, conversion tracking, A/B testing, and bid strategy
- Launch retargeting campaigns across platforms
- Report weekly on spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and cost per lead
- Bring in and manage junior ads support when volume requires it
Vendor and Agency Coordination
- Manage all external marketing vendors and agency relationships
- Own the communication cadence: same-day responses, weekly check-ins, clear deliverable tracking
- Coordinate media collaborations and third-party content partnerships
- Hold vendors to timelines and output quality
Events and Field Marketing
- Manage all event logistics: registration, booth setup, materials, shipping, follow-up
- Coordinate merchandise and branded collateral production
- Own pre-event promotion and post-event lead capture
- Build and maintain the events calendar and budget tracker
Collateral and Content Production
- Produce sales enablement materials, one-pagers, case study layouts, and leave-behinds
- Create and maintain demo decks, pitch materials, and product screenshots
- Coordinate with design resources (internal or agency) to produce polished output
- Ensure all public-facing materials are current, consistent, and on-brand
Marketing Operations
- Manage CRM marketing data, list hygiene, and campaign tagging
- Build and maintain lifecycle email sequences in coordination with GTM Lead
- Own attribution tracking so every lead source is visible
- Maintain dashboards that show what is working and what is not
Team Building
- Identify where junior support, contractors, or virtual assistants can scale your execution
- Hire, manage, and hold accountable any support resources you bring in
- Build repeatable processes that someone else can run so your time stays on strategy and high-leverage work
What We Are Looking For
You have built or significantly scaled a marketing function at a B2B SaaS company. You have owned both the strategy and the execution. You have managed budgets, vendors, and junior team members.
You are not someone who needs a team of specialists to produce output. You are the person who produces and then builds the team around you.
You Should Have
- 4-7 years in B2B marketing with increasing ownership, ideally at a startup or high-growth company
- Experience building marketing strategy around defined ICPs and buyer personas
- Hands-on experience running Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads with real spend and optimization cycles
- Comfortable producing collateral in Canva, Figma, or equivalent design tools
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and AI-assisted design platforms as part of your daily workflow
- Experience managing vendors, agencies, and junior team members
- Experienced with CRM platforms, email automation, and campaign attribution
- Able to make prioritization calls and defend them with data
Bonus
- Legal tech, compliance tech, or professional services marketing experience
- Event management experience including logistics and follow-up
- Ability to coordinate video production and product walkthrough creation
- HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar platform expertise
Compensation: $140,000-$160,000 base 路 Early-stage equity grant with standard vesting 路 Remote (US) 路 Reports to GTM Lead 路 Start immediately
