Mobile App Developer

At Ironclad Ledger, we're looking for a React Native Developer to join our team. From iOS and Android to cross-platform and PWA development, we create mobile solutions that help companies across healthcare, fintech, and supply chain thrive in a mobile-first world.

You'll build high-performance mobile apps for a diverse range of clients from enterprise logistics platforms to innovative fintech startups - working alongside our UI/UX designers and blockchain engineers to turn complex ideas into seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain: Build robust, scalable, and secure cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Collaborate Closely: Work with product managers, backend engineers, and our UI/UX Designer to translate complex business requirements into seamless mobile user experiences.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying bottlenecks and debugging production issues.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years specifically focused on React Native.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of React Native core principles, including the bridge, threading model, and performance limitations.
• JavaScript/TypeScript: Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
• State Management: Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API.
• Native Modules: Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Android Studio) and the ability to write or bridge custom native modules when necessary.
• API Integration: Proven experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• UI/UX Sense: A keen eye for detail and a passion for implementing pixel-perfect, intuitive mobile interfaces that feel native to each platform.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

Bonus Skills

• Blockchain Experience: Prior experience or strong interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, DeFi, or Web3 (e.g., integrating wallets like WalletConnect, interacting with smart contracts).
• Native Development: Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Tooling: Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and testing frameworks (Jest, Detox).
• Backend Knowledge: Familiarity with Node.js or other backend technologies.
• Security: Understanding of mobile security best practices and secure coding standards.
