We’re looking for a skilled and ambitious Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong foundation in AI/ML systems to help build the next generation of technology behind IPOT, a modern Chinese-style hotpot & BBQ dining brand.

In this role, you’ll work directly with the founding team to design and develop software solutions that support product innovation, operational intelligence, and customer-facing tools. This is a fully remote position, ideal for an engineer who thrives in an independent, fast-paced environment and enjoys working at the intersection of food and technology.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications supporting internal and customer-facing systems
Design and implement scalable APIs and backend services that integrate with AI/ML pipelines
Work with data science partners to operationalize ML models into production environments
Create dashboards and tools for menu analytics, trend insights, and operational reporting
Build internal tools that support product development, menu testing, and feedback collection
Deliver clean, well-documented code using industry best practices
Ensure application security, performance, and reliability
Collaborate across teams asynchronously and communicate clearly in English

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in full stack development
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue)
Strong backend skills with Node.js, Python, or similar
Experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or similar)
Understanding of RESTful APIs and data integration
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and workflows (e.g., model deployment, data pipelines)
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting
Reliable laptop and internet connection

Bonus Point If You Have

Experience integrating ML models into production (e.g., recommendation systems, classification models)
Worked in food tech, delivery, or restaurant technology environments
Experience with Firebase, Supabase, or similar backends
Prior contributions to internal productivity tools or analytics dashboards
Interest in food innovation and the F&B space
