Job Title: Application Support Engineer (.NET/Java)

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated Application Support Engineer with experience in .NET and/or Java, who is fluent in Arabic, to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for enterprise-grade applications hosted across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role plays a key part in ensuring application stability, performance tuning, and supporting release management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for enterprise applications developed in .NET and Java
- Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents, bugs, and performance issues
- Perform code-level debugging and log analysis
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to analyze and resolve issues
- Assist in deploying application patches and release updates
- Support and troubleshoot API endpoints and integration components
- Coordinate with DBAs to resolve SQL query and schema-related issues
- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Participate in CI/CD implementation, monitoring tools setup, and automation tasks
- Engage in application performance tuning and optimization activities
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in application development or support roles
- Strong background in .NET and/or Java environments
- Hands-on experience with application servers such as JBoss and IIS
- Good understanding of Oracle and MS SQL database systems
- Proficiency in debugging, log tracing, and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, version control systems, and basic scripting/automation
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus)
- Understanding of ITIL processes and support workflows
