About the role

As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in bringing to life best-in-class user experience to our customers and their users. You will be responsible for designing the end user experience as well as the back office tools our customers use to manage their investing offering. You’ll work closely alongside Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Client Success to design winning experiences that simplify the world of investing.

What you’ll be doing

Market and User Research:

• Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and design experiences that outshine the rest.
• Collaborate with Product and Client Success teams to conduct user research, usability testing, and content audits, ensuring that content and information architecture decisions are guided by the needs of both our financial institution clients and end users.

Design System, User Flows, and Wireframing:

• Explore concepts for new features and product ideas by creating user flows, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes to rapidly test and iterate on design solutions.
• Ensure a solid approach to the information architecture of our applications by establishing coherent content structures through diagrams before progressing to high-fidelity design.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of our design system, ensuring that accessibility and inclusivity remain central considerations throughout the process.
• Establish and record UI components, patterns, and optimal approaches to ensure a buildable and scalable consistent user interface.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to create design concepts that effectively address user needs and are feasible for efficient implementation.
• Share frequent updates on progress via Loom and/or in meetings, demoing your work and collecting feedback and questions.

What skills & experience you will bring to us:

• 2-3 years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of successfully designing and shipping exceptional web applications for both mobile and desktop platforms.
• Impressive portfolio showcasing your design thinking methodology and industry expertise.
• Highly skilled in Figma, with expertise in creating components and managing instances, possessing a strong understanding of design principles.
• Demonstrated understanding of front-end development principles, component libraries, and processes for translating designs into code.
• Ability to incorporate iconography, graphics, and videos into design projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both traditional finance and cryptocurrency landscapes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of how to work in an agile environment and adhere to a sprint schedule.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
