Marketing Lead

We work with some of the largest fire and emergency organizations in the country to deliver real-time operational insight through intuitive tools. As we scale up, we’re looking for a sharp, ambitious marketing lead to help build and drive our marketing strategy from the ground up.
About the Role
We’re hiring a hands-on Marketing Lead to be the architect and engine of Intterra’s marketing function. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role designed for someone with 2–3 years of broad marketing experience who’s ready to step up into a leadership position. You’ll build our marketing strategy, develop campaigns, manage brand and messaging, and help us connect with the agencies and professionals that rely on us to keep the public safe.
You won’t inherit a bloated team or big budget (yet). This is a roll-up-your-sleeves opportunity to craft and execute a marketing vision in a scaling SaaS company with massive market potential. As results come in, so will headcount and resources.
What You'll Do
- Own and develop Intterra’s full-funnel marketing strategy – from brand positioning to lead generation
- Build, execute, and iterate on campaigns across digital, email, social, trade shows, and industry partnerships
- Develop compelling content that speaks to fire, emergency management, and public safety professionals
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging, target audiences, and engagement strategies
- Manage our website, social media channels, and marketing tools
- Measure and report on campaign performance, adjusting tactics as needed
- Be the voice and guardian of the brand — internally and externally
- Serve as a thought partner to the executive team on go-to-market strategies and market positioning
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in a broad marketing role (B2B or SaaS preferred)
- Someone who’s not afraid to write their own copy, build their own landing pages, and analyze their own campaign metrics
- Strong storytelling chops and the ability to translate technical solutions into compelling, benefit-driven messaging
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Webflow, etc.)
- Interest in (familiarity a plus) with AI tools that can automate our activities
- A builder’s mindset: scrappy, resourceful, and excited to lay the foundation for long-term success
- Bonus points for experience in public safety, emergency services, or government tech
- An eye for good design and an ear for sharp copy
Salary Expectations
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $95,000
- Bonus/Performance Incentive: Up to 10% annually
