To support this mission, OSIT has embarked on a multi-year modernization journey, within which the Sr. Software Engineer will play a key role: working within our legacy application as we update it to a cloud-native platform which follows modern design standards.
Job Qualifications
Required:
5+ years’ experience in full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment.
Recent hands-on technical expertise in ServiceNow areas:
Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Security Operations (SecOps).
IT Operations Management (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)
Experience with developing Custom applications.
Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Experience with Flow Designer.
Experience leading a ServiceNow development project.
Experience mentoring other software engineers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field or related field or 7 years’ relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
ServiceNow Application Developer Certification.
Completed ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals (SNAF).
Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning & configuration management.
Basic understanding of networking and internet protocols.
Hands-on technical expertise in ServiceNow areas:
Customer Service Management
IT Service Management
Hourly Rates:
$45 – 60/Hr W2,
$60 – 78/Hr 1099/C2C
