About the Role:
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for elevating interos.ai’ brand, voice, and thought leadership in the market. This role will focus on external communications, public relations, and content strategy—shaping the narrative around supply chain risk intelligence and ensuring Interos is recognized as the industry leader.
As a high-level individual contributor (with the potential to manage one staff member), you will partner closely with executives and cross-functional stakeholders to develop media strategies, craft compelling content, manage PR initiatives, and translate data-driven insights into stories that resonate with customers, prospects, and influencers across the industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead communications and public relations strategy to increase interos.ai’s visibility across media, analysts, and industry forums, and increase our SOV in the market
- Serve as the primary strategic corporate storyteller, transforming data, insights, and product capabilities into compelling narratives for external audiences
- Manage PR agencies and coordinate press releases, media interviews, and thought leadership placements
- Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure consistency in messaging across campaigns and events
- Partner with executives and subject matter experts to draft bylines, blogs, op-eds, and speeches
- Produce reports, blogs, white papers, and other content that showcase Interos’ insights and expertise in supply chain risk intelligence
- Support corporate reputation management, including crisis communications planning and response when needed
- Track communications and PR performance, providing recommendations for improving reach, engagement, and influence
- Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists, analysts, and industry influencers
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in marketing communications, PR, or corporate communications, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment
- Proven ability to secure media coverage and build strong press/analyst relationships
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a track record of producing compelling content for executive, industry, and media audiences
- Strong experience developing thought leadership programs and external communications strategies
- Comfortable working directly with executives and translating complex technical/data-driven concepts into clear, engaging messaging
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a lean, fast-paced environment
Bonus Points For:
- Background in SaaS, cybersecurity, risk management, or supply chain sectors
- Experience supporting executive visibility programs, including keynote prep and speaking opportunities

- Work Environment: This is a remote-first role open to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States. Employees may optionally work from our Arlington, VA HQ. This position may require up to 10% travel. Frequent travel is outside the local area and overnight.
- Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.

Compensation:
- Base Salary Range: $142,000-$237,500 USD (depending on experience and location)
- Variable Compensation: Performance-based annual bonus
- Equity: Stock options included as part of total compensation package
