We're Hiring: Software Engineer – Application Integration (Healthcare/EHR)

Are you passionate about healthcare technology and integration? Join our dynamic team to play a key role in modernizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and building robust, secure healthcare data integrations!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain APIs / services using modern frameworks (REST, event-driven architecture, MuleSoft ESB/Anypoint MQ).
• Collaborate to implement public cloud EHR integrations with on-prem / private cloud applications.
• Lead the design and rollout of medical and other data exchange interfaces (FHIR, HL7, JSON, XML).
• Ensure application privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (PII, PHI, CJI).
• Architect and implement NoSQL unstructured data platforms (Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB), guiding and coaching others in best practices.
• Drive Continuous Integration / Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent work experience (9 years if substituting for degree).
• At least 5 years in electronic data processing study, design, and programming, including 3+ years in a lead capacity.
• Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer I
• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on operational experience with healthcare/medical data exchange technologies (FHIR, HL7, JSON, XML/XSLT).
• At least 1 year of experience in public cloud EHR integration with legacy/on-prem/private cloud apps.

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years’ adding or creating APIs to expose data.
• 3+ years with data privacy/protection and security (PII/PHI/CJI frameworks such as HIPAA, CA Civil Code 1798).
• 2+ years’ operational experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB).
• 2+ years’ experience with CI/CD (DevOps) tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
