Job Overview/Summary
Marketing & Mobilization (M&M), a part of External Relations (ER) is a dynamic team, tasked with overseeing and creating communications and marketing, building the IRC’s global profile and brand, increasing private revenue from deeper donor engagement and partnerships, and influencing our target audiences. In alignment with our Strategy100 commitments, M&M has launched ambitious multi-year campaigns that raise funding, profile and influence and will improve our share of voice and resonance in key geographies and globally.
The Content and Creative team, a part of M&M, consists of award-winning creative specialists and idea partners, developing powerful communications and experiences to engage audiences and ultimately to deliver on ER ambitions and objectives. Our mission is to be a leading provider of brand creative and storytelling products about the IRC’s clients, staff and programs.
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to support our Impact at Scale work within the Creative Studio Design Team. This full-time role is focused on producing high-quality donor facing deliverables—primarily presentation decks, data visualizations, proposals and reports—that communicate the IRC’s humanitarian impact with clarity and precision.
The ideal candidate plays a pivotal role in securing support for the IRC’s most ambitious and impactful priorities. This individual brings the IRC’s Impact at Scale vision to life—translating complex program strategies into clear, compelling communications that motivate giving across Trusts & Foundations, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), Global New Business prospects, and Corporate partners. Working closely with the Strategy Unit, program teams, and External Relations colleagues, the Designer develops high quality proposals, reports, and pitch materials that show donors the meaningful impact their investment can make.
This designer thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, brings exceptional expertise and a sharp eye for typographic systems and layout hierarchy, and can translate complex data and narratives into polished, compelling visual documents. Must be experienced in the Adobe Creative Studio systems including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Figma and Figma Slides knowledge are a bonus but not required.

Compensation: (Pay Range: $73,000 - $85,000) Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
