About the role:
We're seeking a talented distributed systems engineer to join the core engineering team and work on the critical systems that power our data syncing platform. You'll tackle exciting challenges in distributed systems, performance optimization, and scalability while building infrastructure that moves massive amounts of customer data across multi-cloud and multi-region environments.
We believe in empowering our engineers with high levels of ownership and autonomy. You'll own projects from conception to deployment, work directly with customers to solve complex scaling challenges, and have significant influence over our technical direction and roadmap.
What you will work on:
🚀 Sync Speed Optimization Analyze and optimize the entire syncing pipeline to enable customers to move large volumes of data to critical destinations faster than ever before.
⚡ Real-Time Data Streaming Evolve batch-based syncing to support real-time data streams, including webhooks and queue-based sources.
🔧 Scalability & Reliability Architect solutions for the next order of magnitude of growth while ensuring rock-solid reliability across our rapidly expanding platform.
⚡ Low-Latency API Development Build and optimize the Personalization API that delivers <30ms p90 response times while handling millions of queries per second.
🌍 Multi-Region Infrastructure Extend the multi-cloud, multi-region backend to new geographical areas, supporting global data residency requirements.
What we are looking for:
