Summary

The Product Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with a passion for building global brands and proven experience in developing and executing insights-driven marketing efforts that build brand affinity and engagement. In this role, you will create and market social immersive products and experiences that inspire meaningful human connection, creation, and self-expression. This position will join a team responsible for driving foundational consumer experiences for VR and mobile as part of the Client Experience product marketing team.

This role is responsible for influencing brand and product strategies, positioning for target audiences, leading go-to-market efforts that drive awareness and adoption, and working cross-functionally with partners throughout the company. If you are a strategic, consumer-focused marketer who is analytical and creative, excel at leading complex projects in fast-paced environments and are passionate about connecting consumers with great products, then we'd like to connect with you.

Responsibilities

Create and deliver internal enablement resources that empower internal teams to deliver brand strategy and narrative in-market, driving product understanding and engagement for consumers

Drive close partnership and alignment with PMMs and cross-functional teams to ensure outbound marketing assets and communications ladder up to brand strategy and accurately represent brand architecture principles

Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, spanning brand, marketing, product, marketing insights, UXR, data science, etc., to develop and execute brand strategy initiatives that are rooted in consumer insights/data and drive brand health and business results

Partner with internal and external creative and marketing teams to develop brand guidance on how to express the brand in external marketing campaigns, communications, assets

Build strong collaborative alliances with internal stakeholders to gain strategic buy-in on brand strategy and marketing artifacts and drive flawless, unified execution across teams

Demonstrate understanding of the Virtual Reality and software ecosystem represent the market within the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree
  • 10-15+ years of full-time experience in product marketing, brand marketing, consumer products and/or brand management, with brands and at companies with global scale
  • Experience building mass-market consumer-centric brands
  • Experience using data to inform strategy and communication, and to develop meaningful go-to-market approaches that drive business outcomes
  • Experience leading consumer go-to-market strategies across multiple audiences, launching and growing free or paid consumer products
  • Experience working with Brand, Communications, Policy, and Legal teams at all levels of management
  • Experience in presenting, facilitating discussions, and driving decisions with executives and cross-functional teams
  • Project management experience in fast-moving environments, working with different functions, showing strong judgment in assessing and solving problems
  • Experience in presenting to higher-level leadership and cross-functional forums
  • A passion for our client's portfolio of products and its mission to build the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of consumer mobile apps and the technology landscape, both in the U.S. and internationally
  • Gaming or consumer technology industry experience
  • Experience and/or domain knowledge in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms
  • Global marketing experience and deep knowledge of diverse cultural, social and business landscapes
  • Experience launching innovative, first-to-market products or services, emerging technologies or new product categories
  • Experience in copywriting and working with creative teams
