Intelligent Waves is seeking a skilled and results-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies and initiatives that drive brand awareness, support business growth, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Marketing Communications and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, social media, event planning, website management, and content creation to enhance brand awareness and achieve growth objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and has a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, along with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and will be reimbursed based on IW policy, GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) as required.

_Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning:

Assist in developing and executing comprehensive marketing communications strategies to support organizational goals.
Contribute to the planning, implementation, and analysis of marketing initiatives, including website management, social media campaigns, and event promotions, ensuring effective follow-up and identifying areas for improvement.

Content Development & Management

Lead the creation of compelling content such as website copy, press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and business development (BD) enablement materials.
Participate in the planning and execution of a website redesign project to enhance user experience and brand consistency.

Graphic Design & Creative Support

Design and create graphics for various platforms, including social media, proposals, and other marketing projects as needed.

Project Coordination & Support

Provide additional project support to ensure the success of marketing initiatives and meet key deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in marketing communications or related role, with proven track record of success
Experience with Adobe, Canva, or Camtasia
Experience with WordPress
Experience with SEO optimization
Experience with HubSpot and/or NextStage

Desired

Extensive experience with Microsoft 365
Knowledge of government contracting industry
Experience with project management tools
