Senior Full Stack Engineer – React & React Native Mobile & Platform Architecture for a 20M Member Healthcare Platform!

A rapidly growing healthcare technology organization is undertaking a major redesign of its web and mobile member experience platform supporting approximately 20 Million users nationwide.

This high-visibility initiative is focused on modernizing the digital experience, improving member engagement and benefit utilization, integrating newly acquired healthcare platforms, and evolving the front-end architecture into a more scalable, modern engineering ecosystem.

The team is hiring (1) Senior Software Engineer to help drive this transformation, with a strong emphasis on React, Mobile experience (React Native), UI architecture, and Customer-Facing application development at Enterprise scale.

This is a highly impactful role where the Senior Software Engineer will have the opportunity to influence platform modernization, partner closely with product and design teams, and help shape the future experience for millions of healthcare members.

Job Summary:

• Design and develop modern front-end architecture using React, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Partner with backend teams using Java and Spring Boot to create clean APIs, efficient data flows, and scalable full-stack solutions.
• Bridge UI/UX design with backend engineering to deliver consistent, high-performing, maintainable applications.
• Mentor front-end and full-stack engineers while promoting modern development practices, code quality, and continuous improvement.
• Champion front-end excellence across performance, accessibility, responsive design, and design system consistency.
• Contribute to architecture discussions focused on scalability, maintainability, security, and end-to-end technical alignment.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD, and reliable deployment practices.
• Build, maintain, and enhance proprietary application components for complex, large-scale business systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate progress, and deliver commitments on time.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in front-end engineering with strong expertise in React, React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript, combined with backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong full-stack engineering background with experience designing scalable applications, REST APIs, databases, and modern backend systems.
• Proven ability to build responsive, high-performance, customer-facing UI components and modern web/mobile applications.
• Experience with React Native mobile development for iOS and Android, along with strong knowledge of UI architecture, accessibility, responsive design, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud and backend technologies including AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and scalable architecture best practices.
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries such as Material UI or Ant Design.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions focused on scalability, maintainability, security, and enterprise application performance.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience partnering across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Experience evaluating technical solutions, architecture approaches, and build vs. buy decisions for enterprise platforms.
