Title: Product Designer
Location: Remote (PST)
Duration: 12 months 
Compensation: $44-75/hr

Job Description: Product Designer (Research Platform)

The Research Platform team is part of a centralized product infrastructure organization focused on enabling high-quality, efficient research insights that drive product success and innovation. This team supports tools used by UX researchers, data scientists, and product teams at scale.

This role will cover for a senior designer on leave and will own design across multiple areas of the Research Platform.

Key Focus Areas

• Research Lab — Gather UX feedback, iterate on designs, and drive solutions toward production readiness
• Budget Management — Executive-facing survey budget tool; partner with engineering to refine and launch
• Competitive Intelligence — Support development of a new product initiative
• Consumer Insights App — A consumer-facing application used to capture insights globally

What You'll Do

• Design and iterate on research tools across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Partner closely with engineering, product management, and content design to drive execution
• Navigate complex problem spaces across research operations, AI, compliance, and user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across experimentation, metrics, and data analytics platforms

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding or design workflows)
• Proven ability to take ambiguous problems and drive them to clear, well-reasoned design solutions (not just visual execution)
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience designing for data platforms, research tools, analytics tools, or compliance workflows
• Proficiency with Figma
• Strong systems thinking — ability to design cohesive workflows across complex platforms
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
