UX Designer

Position: UX Designer

Location: Fully Remote

PR: $55-$60/hour

Duration: 8-9 months, extensions likely

Shift: 8-5 CST

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years experience with Figma prototyping (not just wireframes)

• Ability to build realistic, clickable prototypes from high-fidelity wireframes

• Experience creating end-to-end flows and task scenarios for usability testing

• Experience preparing research materials (discussion guides, test questions, task flows)

• Comfortable supporting and facilitating user research sessions (1:1 interviews, group testing)

• Ability to summarize insights and write actionable recommendations

Plusses:

• Experience working with healthcare users (clinical and admin)

• Familiarity with intranet design or redesign projects

• Experience collaborating with design leads and product teams

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a mid-level UX Designer to support Ascension Health’s intranet redesign initiative. This role sits within the “Innovation” workstream and focuses on validating designs created by the core design team.

The candidate will spend approximately 70% of their time building interactive prototypes in Figma and 30% supporting user research activities. They will work closely with the Lead Designer (Zofia) to prepare and facilitate usability testing sessions with Ascension associates (70% clinical, 30% admin). Responsibilities include:

• Creating clickable, high-fidelity prototypes populated with realistic content
• Designing user flows and task scenarios for testing
• Supporting 1:1 and group usability sessions
• Observing user behavior and capturing insights
• Summarizing findings and providing recommendations to the product team
