REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of web development experience.

• Expert knowledge of Figma, Webflow, Web Accessibility Standards, and SEO best practices.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience managing multiple projects.

• Experience with build and release management in line with industry standards.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Awareness of branding principles

JOB DESCRIPTION

An established insurance client is seeking a creative and design-oriented UI Developer to join their fast-growing Applications Development team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing web applications that support critical business initiatives. You’ll use your expertise with Figma to build design systems, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Familiarity with Figma Dev Mode and the ability to translate visual concepts into production-ready code are essential. Strong communication and follow-through will be important, as you’ll be collaborating with various cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Design web applications using Figma and develop responsive interfaces with HTML and CSS/SCSS, under the direction of the Design Lead. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements aligned with business objectives. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting delivery timelines. Coordinate with other members of the Web Development team to maintain cohesion and code quality. Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of web apps with internal systems. Apply knowledge of visual design principles and their relationship to marketing strategies to enhance user experience.
