A large Casino Operator Client is seeking a UX Designer to join the Web Team. This role sits at the intersection of strategic UX thinking and hands on visual design, supporting complex, content rich, brand forward digital experiences. This designer will operate as a highly autonomous, plug and play contributor who can take first passes at problem solving, translate functional requirements into elegant visual solutions, and refine designs collaboratively with internal partners. The ideal candidate brings strong UX instincts, polished visual design skills, and comfort working within an established luxury brand system. Key Responsibilities and Day to Day UX & Visual Design Execution
• Act as a strategic, hands on designer delivering high quality UX and visual solutions
• Take first passes at functional problem solving and concept exploration
• Design experiences that are both aesthetically refined and operationally sound
• Ensure designs align with their luxury brand standards while improving usability Collaboration & Iteration
• Partner closely with the Design Lead to refine concepts through multiple iterations
• Collaborate with developers and product partners to align functionality and execution
• Incorporate feedback thoughtfully while maintaining strong design rationale Design Systems & Tooling
• Work within an established design system and contribute to its evolution
• Leverage Figma at an advanced level to create scalable, maintainable designs
• Collaborate with a dedicated design system librarian maintaining Figma files Production Environment
• Support live web production efforts using ticketing and workflow tools
• Balance speed, quality, and craftsmanship in a fast moving environment
• Operate independently while staying aligned with team standards and direction
Required Skills:
• 5-7 years of professional UX design experience
• Strong hands on visual design skills paired with strategic UX thinking
• Proven experience solving functional UX problems, not just marketing layouts
• High proficiency in Figma, including advanced capabilities and systemized design
• Experience working within or evolving an existing design system
• Ability to take a brief, run with it independently, and return with thoughtful solutions
• Experience balancing brand fidelity with functional reinvention
• Comfortable operating in a production environment with ticketing tools and workflows
• Strong communication skills with the ability to receive and iterate on feedback
• Portfolio required (visual, succinct, clearly showing problem solving)
Nice to Have:
• Experience supporting content heavy, CMS driven, or enterprise web platforms
• Exposure to hospitality, gaming, casino, or luxury brands
• Experience designing complex flows, forms, or transactional components
• Experience collaborating closely with product and development teams
• Familiarity with enterprise tools, ticketing systems, or ADO environments
Compensation:
$40/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
