• 5+ years of Software Engineer experience

• Experience coding and scripting in Python

• Automation experience

• GCP and Kubernetes

• Someone with a DevOps mindset (build it, test it, deploy it, support it, own it)

• Ability to write SQL Queries

• Experince working with CI/CD pipeline Soft skills:

• Self- starter and eager to learn

• strong communication skills – someone who is a team player and won’t want to silo and just “work tickets”

• Customer Service mindset

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• API • Terraform

• GLEAN platform

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is searching for a systems administrator to join their tech enablement SASS tools team. This individual will be responsible for general support of the tools that this team owns -answering questions, responding to requests, adding new users and new projects, automating things as much as possible. The main aspect of this role will be to automate processes/common troubleshooting tickets to optimize processes. The goal of this team is to minimize the amount of support and admin work needed to maintain these tools. The long-term goal of this team is to move into a consulting model with the tools – giving suggestions to internal employees on what tools they need to solve the problems that they are facing. This team of 8 engineers/administrators is looking for someone who is self-sufficient, has strong communication skills, and has an eagerness to learn.

Compensation:

$35/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
