Insight Global is looking for a Senior Workday Developer who can execute on a client project that is focused on building integrations and converting financial data from Peoplesoft AR to Workday AR. This person will be a strong asset on the team as they will be working with many individuals to deliver this crucial initiative.
Location: Fully-remote
Pay Rate: 77/hr CAD - 83/hr CAD (55/hr USD - 63/hr USD)
Duration: 6-Month contract + extensions
Must Haves:
- 7+ years of experience with Workday, having 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integration development, with a strong focus on Workday Financials.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Calculated Fields, and Report Writer
- Enterprise environment Workday experience
- Experience working with Azure ASB
- Experience building out 75+ integrations in Workday Finance
- Strong experience with inbound and outbound integrations in Workday
- Experience with SOX compliance (monitoring and auditing), including secure design and audit-readiness of integrations in similar sized public organizations.
- Strong background in error handling, logging, and alerting for integrations.
- Experience building or maintaining dashboards for integration monitoring.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Excellent at both written and verbal communication, ensuring code, documentation, and discussions are equally clear and effective. Ability to translate technical concept into business-friendly language

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and build solutions for complex integrations by analyzing the full Accounts Receivable ecosystem and identifying root cause issues, analyze business processes, and downstream impacts.
- Identify and implement opportunities for simplification, automation, and performance improvements across Workday Financials and related modules.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, architects, HR, Finance, IT, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.
- Build and maintain dashboards for integration monitoring and operational visibility.
- Build and maintain robust error handling, logging, and alerting mechanisms for all integrations.
Compensation:
$77/hr to $83/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
