●3+ years of Social Media Management experience in games (with at least 1 game launch) ●Experience working across multiple Social & Community platforms (Discord, X, TikTok etc.) ●Experience managing social calendars for multiple titles at once
●Demonstrable skill in Photoshop, and/or other tools to make static visuals for us on social ●Experience in balancing priorities and internal resources against various competing projects ●Excellent communications skills and experience in working directly with developers & publishers as well as external agencies
●Experience collecting and visualizing social/community sentiment reports
●Ability to work across multiple time zones depending on needs - including Europe and Japan when necessary
Day to Day:
A large Gaming and Software company is looking for a Social Media Manager to manage social channels for a number of upcoming titles. This person will be responsible for ideating the social approach for titles in collaboration with the developers, creating and posting to game channels, creating and maintaining a social calendar for those titles, developing & executing a social growth plan for multiple titles, and working with stakeholders to ensure they have the right assets and messaging on hand to meet business goals. Responsibilities: ●Collaborate with multiple Publishing Partners to build out cohesive Social Media strategies for multiple game titles. ●Manage relationships with developers to ensure those plans meet expectations and represent their work in the right way. ●Work with multiple partners to identify strategic opportunities and maximize digital campaigns to deliver against core business objectives. ●Analyze the impact of Social campaigns and how they feed into wider business objectives. ●Manage and directly contribute to a dynamic asset pipeline ensuring we have what we need to visualize these titles in ways that stand out on social platforms ●Work cross-functionally to align social campaigns with wider marketing beats & budgets. ●Develop close relationships with First Party and hardware partners to maximize marketing impact and reach. ●Develop & distribute data-driven reports on growth & engagement with social channels ●Monitor Community sentiment and work with developers to address common themes & feedback
