Quality Assurance Engineer

• Fully remote in Colombia

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3+ years of native app testing on iOS and Android and web browser testing

Experience completing testing with tools like Test Complete, BrowserStack, Perfecto or Kobiton Experience working with React/ReactNative

Experience working with CI/CD Pipelines - team is using Gitlab

Experience working with Visual Studio Code

Experience working with Object oriented languages (JavaScript/Typescript/Java)

Experience building test plans, test execution and production support

JOB DESCRIPTION

An employer is looking for a fully remote Mobile QA, for a contract opportunity that will sit remotely in Colombia. This QA will join an agile team and assist with the update and modernization efforts of their mobile and web application that is built on React and ReactNative. This QA will be responsible for creating and testing scenarios for used cases and complete regression testing. They will work out of Jira and Confluence for their work loads and report bugs to the Product Owner and other cross functional team members. They will mostly be working on 60% new features on the application and 40% bugs from testing. The role is about 80% manual testing but the project will become more automated as it progresses. The client is looking for a candidate to be a self-starter who can be productive, ask questions and be resourceful.
