Role Overview
As a Visual Designer, you will collaborate cross-functionally with PD and EM to bring the art team's vision to life through high-quality content delivery. Your responsibilities include icon development as well as art creation and execution in close coordination with the Art Director. You will lead enhancements in reward representation and merchandising within the core loop experience. Additionally, you will manage and create scalable quest card art across tiers, Live Ops promotional materials, and reward claiming assets. Your work will also encompass designing foundational market visuals such as credits, points, tiers, and store modules, as well as developing storefront and inventory art components including discovery and item badging.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of animations and still frames for system-level components, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality visual experience across platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Product Designers
- Conceptualize and create innovative animations and graphics that enhance usability and aesthetics
- Present design concepts, progress, and final deliverables to leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and strategic direction.
- Drive evolutions to reward representation and merchandising within the core loop experience.
- Codify principles for color selection, palette, and templates.
- Deliver required assets to engineering and support implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Visual Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 2D and 3D
- Proficiency in industry-standard motion design software such as After Effects, Adobe Animate, Cinema 4D, or similar.
- Experience working in real-time environments like Unity or Unreal.
- Ability to develop highly dynamic animated components within tight performance constraints.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to maintain cohesiveness across all design elements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and provide constructive feedback.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, quality, and usability.
- Passion for emerging technologies and a desire to stay at the forefront of innovation
Compensation:
$65/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
