Lead Fullstack Developer

Title: Lead Fullstack Developer

Location: 100% Remote - EST/CST

Duration: 6-9 month contract to hire

MUST HAVES:

• 6+ years of development experience
• Angular/Java (60% frontend/40% backend) - Java 11+, Spring, Spring boot and Angular 11+
• NgRx state management tool is a requirement
• Action oriented - will be making decision
• Any issues that happen in production they will need to answer those - participating in triage conversations
• 30-40% hands on coding/60-70% code reviews and team
• Well versed - code owner
• Will need to review and approve code
• Teaching skills, mentorship, leadership skills
• Teaching junior engineers and coordinating their work

NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED):

• Team lead or leadership role (staff level) in previous role
• Cloud experience is plus (GCP)

Day to Day:

The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for leading a team of engineers building and designing a product that this client's customers and associates love. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Lead Software Engineers will assist in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring. Lead Software Engineers contribute to foundational code elements that can be reused as well as architectural diagrams and other product-related documentation. In this role, you will be a core player on the product team and are expected to build and grow the skillsets of the more junior Engineers.
