About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced CW Design Program Coordinator (DPC) to maintain, innovate and establish design operations within our design team. This CW DPC will partner with a Design Program Management team and collaborate with Product Design Managers & Product Designers.
We’re looking for someone who can:
● Optimize and streamline design operations to drive team efficiency and impact.
● Communicate clearly and effectively by succinctly articulating requests, questions, and findings to ensure stakeholders are informed of work and progress.
● Develop new and leverage existing frameworks to create efficiencies, streamline operational responsibilities, improve communication, and help the design team deliver on our business goals.
● Cultivate strong relationships and serve as a dependable point of contact with stakeholders and partners across design and cross-functional product teams
This role will focus on project management tools that help our Designers keep track of their work, report out progress and handle resourcing allocation and forecasting. Through your project management efforts, you will improve team communication, collaboration, remove roadblocks, and help keep design teams and feature deliverables on track.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance and support for Design teams utilizing internal project management system for tracking design work, ensuring deliverables are met for key milestones, forecasting resource allocations, and reporting out progress to XFN and Design leadership.
- Help teams improve their operational effectiveness by identifying and addressing issues with workflows or tooling, set and measure performance goals, and fostering a collaborative process to improve our ops processes.
- Facilitate office hour meetings to answer questions about process and overall project management tool usage.
- Iterate and improve upon design reporting processes, soliciting feedback from design ops personnel (DPMs, DPCs, Producers) and Design Managers to determine and address the particular needs of their teams.
- Support additional design operation initiatives as needed to drive effectiveness and efficiency of the design team. Build and execute project plans, gain stakeholder buy-in, effectively communicate progress
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a producer, project manager, or program manager supporting product design teams.
- Experience as a Producer, Project Manager or Program Manager at a mobile, console, AR, or VR game studio preferred
- Experience working with product designers on delivering initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a design team's workflow and outcomes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, product management, content design, user research, etc.
- Track record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with independent time management, task prioritization, ability to identify problems, establish timelines, and work towards solutions.
- Provide flexible processes that meet team needs and help keep work on track.
- Experience working with product design teams at scale
- Experience working with professional project management tools such as JIRA or Asana to track design work, resource allocation, and reporting for stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with lots of ambiguity
- Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
Compensation:
$60/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
