Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to support a high-visibility, multi-year system migration as we transition from our legacy Granite platform (Erikson) to GENOME (a Blue Planet product). This project is being driven by the CCIO (Cyber Compliance Insights & Operations) team and has strong executive visibility and a sizable budget, with adoption planned through late 2026/2027.
You’ll play a key role ensuring that our stakeholders' needs- particularly around data modeling, APIs, reporting, and risk- are front and center during this migration. You’ll manage a small team of PMs, provide regular updates to executive leadership, and help steer this effort to success, even while not being the primary driver of the project.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the planning and execution of a complex platform migration (Granite to GENOME)
- Represent the needs and priorities of internal teams who are major users, but not owners, of the software
- Act as a strategic liaison between CCIO and the broader technical/project teams to ensure visibility, inclusion, and alignment
- Oversee risk mitigation, reporting, and escalation planning
- Communicate program status and risks to an executive audience
- Translate technical/project details into digestible updates for senior leadership
- Support the team through politically sensitive dynamics and ensure their voice is heard
- Coordinate data modeling efforts and help shape the reporting/APIs strategy in GENOME
Must-haves:
- 8-10 years of program or large-scale project management experience
- Comfortable with managing budgets of 5Million+
- Strong experience managing cross-functional teams and navigating matrixed environments
- Proven ability to “swivel” from technical detail to executive-level messaging
- Background in system migrations, enterprise software, or platform rollouts
- Experience managing vendor relationships (even if indirectly involved)
- Risk management and mitigation expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Prior experience working in cyber, compliance, or IT operations environments is a plus
