Must Haves:

• Hands-on SQL experience
• Experience using BigQuery
• 2-3 years of experience within data analytics
• Experience working with large data and using it for performance optimization
• Exposure to compliance and sanctions (Financial Services Background)

Pluses:

• Experience using Ficrosoft for data driven analysis
• Understanding model development
• Experience using Tableau
• Python and Snowflake experience

Job Description:

Our top FinTech client is committed to combating Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, and related financial crimes around the world. As a Data Scientist on the Financial Intelligence Unit, you will lead efforts to provide data-driven solutions, optimize sanctions screening systems, and manage sanctions-related data. You will conduct data-driven analysis of FircoSoft generated alerts to optimize screening configurations and propose new rules and algorithms for enhanced screening quality.
