Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 4+ years of progressive, technically sophisticated graphic design experience utilizing the adobe creative suite and other design tools
- Experience creating mechanical files for banners, posters, signage and other 2D assets
- Possess comfortability and creative freedom to re-iterate various design concepts with some direction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present new concepts and designs to small and large groups utilizing Figma, Miro or Keynote, including presenting to executive leaders and external partners.
- Strategic thinking and adept at connecting the dots across multiple approaches and outputs.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a highly developed ability to work through ambiguous environments and cultivate relationships
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a 2D Designer to support a large sports lifestyle retail brand in Beaverton, Oregon area. You will be part of the North America Seasonless Retail Brand Design team who is the steward of retail innovation in the biggest geography delivering new store builds or store refresh projects. You will support multiple workstreams simultaneously, partnering closely with various internal teams, and design leadership to deliver 2D spatial design concepts showcasing the brands typographic and graphic design ethos. You will support multiple retails refreshes simultaneously which go live within 2-6 months. Being comfortable with navigating ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment are vital to succeeding in this role. Additional job responsibilities are below:
- Support Expert Designers on tasks to lead long-term vision, strategic and tactical direction, and design continuity.
- Develop variations of a potential 2D design concept utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create mechanical files for production print vendors
- Develop presentation materials using Miro or Keynote that effectively communicate design concepts to all levels of leadership and partners.
- Collaborate with producers, design counterparts, internal partners (Brand, Retail Brand, Brand Design, Digital, etc.) and external partners to ensure the feasibility of designs and functional needs are met.
- Actively gain knowledge and contribute to the development of the brand's standards, design ethos, products, and processes.
- Understand design processes to ensure results, timelines, and budgets are met.
- You will likely travel 10% of the time.
Hourly rate is determined upon years of experience and alignment to each opening
