Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Game Designer, including monetization and game analytics
- Understanding of video game industry, mobile game market, monetization strategies and solutions over it
- Experience in player behavior prediction and construction gameplay systems
- Ability to drive insights due to product needs, and user feedback
- Strong math skills to calculate the economics of games
- Deeply understanding product features and analytic reports, convert it into use cases and marketing materials
- Successful history in improving audience engagement, retention and monetization metrics
Will be an advantage
- Experience in financial model building with specific focus on gaming product development
- Actual experience creating games from scratch to release (to post-production) with high metrics
Responsibilities
- Design games from scratch or improve existing products working over new games mechanics
- Find points to improve product metrics like player engagement, retention, monetization
- Writing clear and structured GDDs, specifications, configurations
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, Development teams and related stakeholders to improve products, increase gameplay and improve monetization
- Investigate and propose opportunities, conduct competitor research, user research, and in-depth analyses to drive recommendations
- Set pricing strategy, monitor in-game economics and modify pricing based on results
- Organize, analyze, and contextualize feedback from players; identify key issues, create strategy to solve them with relevant teams
- Drive and manage advertising and revenue optimization in mobile games
- Plan, create and implement regular events and strategies to drive growth in business KPIs
