We are currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our team to drive compelling and effective marketing as we launch our first product. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep empathy for farmers, a proven track record of creating and running marketing projects, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of strategy and planning, and leading the execution of marketing campaigns for driving awareness, adoption, and product launches at both the farmer and retailer level
  • Develop assets and able to work with agencies to develop assets, such as sell sheets, website pages, radio commercials, signs
  • Enable the sales team with messaging and collateral to drive revenue and retention
  • Support the development and updating of product-level positioning
  • Support the development and consistent application of compelling messaging and proof for key audiences
  • Conduct market and customer research and competitive intelligence
  • Willingness and ability to provide hands-on support to marketing and sales operations in key Midwest locations including trade shows and events on an as-needed basis

Requirements

You may be a great fit for this role if you:

  • Are authorized to work in the United States
  • Located in the Midwest (preferred: Illinois, Iowa, or Nebraska)
  • Communicate clearly, whether written, verbal, or in presentation
  • Demonstrate excellence in successful execution of marketing projects/campaigns and strong attention to detail
  • Learn quickly and are resourceful, particularly in ambiguous environments
  • Demonstrate deep empathy for customers
  • Capable of conducting research and analysis to extract meaningful insights
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and good judgment when making decisions
  • Work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and maintain respectful relationships with teammates
  • Work independently and ask for guidance when needed

Additional skills that are preferred:

  • 2-5 years of Product Marketing experience
  • Passionate about agriculture, particularly production agriculture in commodity row cropping systems. Previous experience working in agriculture is a plus

Benefits

The US annual range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
