Senior/Principal Engineer - fast paced startup who operate remotely and are gaining a lot of traction within their space (Authentication). You will work in a fully remote team with autonomy and solving deep technical problems.

The Role

As a Product focused Software Engineer in this role, you will design, build and maintain high-performance backend services for real-time identity threat detection and response pipelines as well as develop and scale infrastructure that process’s identity data and security events from multiple cloud environments.

About You

If you are a Software Engineer who has a product mindset and thrive in an early stage start up environment then this role could be a great fit! Ideally you will have some commercial experience in developing with Golang although if experience in another back end language and happy to switch then that is sufficient.

Any experience in building systems to handle high traffic at scale in a cloud environment would be a big advantage. Overall if you love working with Golang, building scalable products on a global platform, you will enjoy this team!

Some Things that will help you stand out (Not all required!):

Experience of building highly scalable and reliable systems
Have worked on security-focused products, such as identity, access control, threat detection, or SIEMs
Have experience with Neo4j or other graph databases
Have a deep understanding of application security, including authentication, authorization, and secrets management
Are confident writing high-quality Go code (or are comfortable picking it up quickly)

Salary

For the Successful Software Engineer you can expect a starting salary of up to €150,000 (b2b contract available) + Stock options
