Node.js Developer

The Job:

You are a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js, TypeScript, AWS). In this role, you’ll lead the design and development of high-performance backend systems, a next-generation data platform that processes massive volumes of network communication data, and build scalable solutions that fuel real-time insights for hundreds of clients. You’ll play a crucial part in driving architecture decisions, mentoring peers, and delivering innovation at scale.

My client, a high-growth SaaS business, is seeking a hands-on engineer to join their founding tech team. Trailblazers in public data APIs, powering digital transformation for a fast-growing roster of global customers. Fully bootstrapped and profitable, they’ve achieved record-breaking ARR in under two years with over 100 clients on board. They specialize in high-impact, high-performance systems that deliver transparency and integrity across social networks and other digital ecosystems. You'll be joining a tight-knit team where engineering excellence and product thinking go hand in hand.

About You:

You have A-Z builder experience, taking product 0-1. With deep experience in designing scalable backend systems and a love for solving performance-heavy challenges, you're ready to step into a high-impact role. You bring a startup mindset, thrive in autonomy, and are eager to work closely with product and cross-functional stakeholders. You don’t just write code — you drive outcomes.

Key requirements include:

• 6+ years of backend development experience at scale
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and experience with cloud platforms (ideally AWS)
• Experience building high-load distributed systems and optimizing for performance
• Strong architectural and system design skills

Salary, Location & Process:

Salary: Salary stays in the range of €100,000 per year, flexible depending on experience.

Location: Remote - However, candidates must be currently legally working and living in the EU, Switzerland, or the UK. - No Sponsorship is offered.
