Job Description

:The client is seeking for Web Systems Team is seeking a Front-End Web Designer/Developer to support UX design, front-end development, and enterprise web solutions for NCDOT and NCDMV. The role focuses on creating accessible, user-friendly, and consistent web experiences across platforms including SharePoint, ServiceNow, SAP, Drupal, and other enterprise applications

.Key Responsibilitie

s• Design, update, and maintain web UI components and interactive prototypes

.• Develop accessible, responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

.• Build and support front-end solutions for enterprise web applications and content management systems

.• Ensure UI consistency across NCDIT Transportation platforms

.• Conduct training sessions and webinars for business users on developed applications and tools

.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and accessibility

.Required Qualification

s• 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript development

.• 5+ years of semantic HTML and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, CSS variables, theming)

.• 4+ years of state management using reactive stores/signals

.• 4+ years of website accessibility testing and integration with enterprise systems (SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, etc.)

.• 3+ years of Vue.js development

.• 3+ years of UX design, web performance optimization, and WCAG 2.2+ accessibility compliance

.• 1+ year of AI-assisted development and workflow automation experience

.Preferred Qualification

s• 3+ years of experience with Vite build tooling

.• 3+ years designing and maintaining design systems and component libraries
