Job Title: Technical Product Manager – AI & Data Modernization
The Opportunity
We are building an industrial-grade platform to solve a critical problem: automating the modernization of massive legacy data estates.
We are not looking for a "Prompt Engineer" or a generic backlog administrator. We are building a system that goes beyond simple code generation to understand structure and logic, using a Neuro-Symbolic approach. We need a Technical Product Manager who can operate in a hands-on environment, bridging the gap between rapid technical prototyping and structured product delivery.
You will work directly with the Product Owner and Architecture leadership to define the roadmap, helping us turn internal tools and concepts into a cohesive, market-ready platform.
The Challenge
Current GenAI tools are excellent at creativity but struggle with the strict logical consistency required for enterprise data systems.
Your challenge is to help us build a product that balances the flexibility of AI with the reliability of engineering. We are operating on an aggressive delivery schedule with high visibility. We need a PM who can drive a product from prototype to MVP in under 6 months.
You will need to take existing proof-of-concepts built by hands-on technical leaders and help operationalize them into a scalable product, all while coordinating with engineering leadership on execution and UI/UX.
What You Will Do
- Roadmap & Execution: Translate high-level architectural goals into a concrete, prioritized backlog. You will drive the product from its current prototype phase to MVP, strictly managing scope to hit our targets.
- Prototype to Product: We have strong internal tools for ingestion and rule extraction. Your job is to work with the technical creators of these tools to refine them into user-facing features, ensuring they solve actual business problems without losing their innovative edge.
- The "Human-in-the-Loop" Workflow: Design the user journey for complex migrations. Since 100% automation is rare, you will define how the system flags ambiguities and how users interact with the AI to validate logic.
- Technical Alignment: You will act as the glue between different technical stakeholders; hands-on tinkerers, structured engineering leads, and architectural oversight; to ensure everyone is building towards the same vision.
What We Need (Must Haves)
- Technical Fluency: You must be comfortable discussing technical concepts. You don’t need to write the compiler, but you need to understand the difference between parsing code (ASTs, Dependency Graphs) and generating code (LLMs).
- Domain Experience: 5+ years in Product Management, ideally in Data, DevTools, or Enterprise Software. You understand the complexity of legacy systems (e.g., Stored Procedures, ETL pipelines).
- MVP Mindset: You know how to deliver value quickly. You can distinguish between "cool technology" and "critical feature," and you are not afraid to cut scope to meet a deadline.
- Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic environments where roles can be fluid. You are capable of working with strong technical personalities to get the job done.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Data Warehouse or Database Migration products.
- Familiarity with "Agentic" workflows or tools (e.g., LangChain, autonomous agents).
- Background in working with internal tooling or platform engineering teams.
