Peppol PINT AE Integration Consultant — UAE eInvoicing

About the Role

Infocus is a registered Peppol Access Point (AP) and SMP provider actively implementing the UAE PINT AE eInvoicing standard. We are seeking an experienced Peppol Integration Consultant to guide our engineering team through the final stages of our UAE testbed certification and into production readiness.

You will work directly with our backend engineering team, reviewing implementation decisions, resolving integration blockers, and ensuring our solution is fully compliant with Peppol DCTCE 5-corner model requirements and UAE FTA mandates.

What You Will Be Doing

• Reviewing and advising on our AS4/SBDH message handling, PINT AE Schematron validation, TDD generation, and MLS construction
• Guiding the team through UAE testbed certification (TC-AE-1 through TC-AE-4) on testbed.peppol.org
• Advising on SMP registration strategy for PINT AE Invoice, Credit Note, MLS, and TDD document types
• Identifying gaps in our implementation against OpenPeppol and UAE FTA specifications
• Reviewing phase4 AS4 sender configuration for TDD submission to C5 (UAE FTA simulator)
• Advising on production hardening — error handling, retry logic, message correlation, audit trails
• Providing guidance on ongoing Peppol specification updates relevant to UAE

Required Experience

Peppol:

• Hands-on experience implementing or certifying a Peppol Access Point
• Deep familiarity with AS4 messaging, SBDH structure, and SMP/SML registration
• Direct experience with UAE PINT AE (BIS Billing 3.0 UAE extension) or closely related PINT implementations (Singapore, Japan, Malaysia)
• Understanding of the DCTCE 5-corner model — specifically TDD submission to C5 and MLS exchange between C2/C3
• Familiarity with Peppol testbed certification process at testbed.peppol.org

Technical:

• Proficient in Java (Java 17+) — able to read, review, and advise on production Java code
• Hands-on experience with the helger library ecosystem: phoss-ap, phoss-smp, peppol-commons, phase4, phive, peppol-mls, peppol-uae-tdd
• Familiar with UBL 2.1 document structures — Invoice, Credit Note, ApplicationResponse
• Experience with Schematron validation pipelines
• Comfortable with Docker-based AP deployments and AWS infrastructure

Domain:

• Working knowledge of UAE FTA eInvoicing regulations and timelines
• Understanding of VAT invoice requirements in the UAE context
• Awareness of OpenPeppol governance, BIS specifications, and the PINT framework
