Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong focus on Generative AI to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge Generative AI solutions, using the latest models to solve complex industrial and business challenges. You will contribute to building intelligent systems that can generate novel content, insights, and solutions across various domains.
What role will you play?
- Research & Development: Conduct research into the latest Generative AI architectures Large Language Models (LLMs) and apply them to real-world problems.
- Model Design & Implementation: Design, implement, and fine-tune Generative AI models for tasks such as text generation, image synthesis, code generation, and synthetic data creation.
- Data Engineering: Collaborate with other data engineers to identify, collect, preprocess, and manage datasets suitable for implementing the business Generative AI solutions.
- Evaluation & Optimization: Develop robust evaluation metrics and methodologies for Generative AI models, analyze performance, and iterate on model architectures and training strategies for optimal results.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, domain experts, and researchers to understand requirements and integrate AI solutions.
- Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and Generative AI research, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and potentially external publications or patents.
- Ethical AI: Ensure that all Generative AI solutions are developed and deployed responsibly, adhering to ethical AI principles and data privacy regulations
Which conditions should you meet?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with any of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Advanced Python programming skills for automation and tool development
- Solid knowledge of data engineering and streaming tools
- Hands-on experience with some MLOps solutions. Examples: MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, CI/CD tools, etc.
- GenAI - based cloud solutions like OpenAI, Bedrock, etc.
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM usage and best practices
- Understanding of storage solutions and data lifecycle management
- Ability to work in a self-organized team
- Strong orientation to the customer is key
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English, speaking, reading, and writing (mandatory)
- Experience with Microsoft Teams chatbots/integrations (it would be a plus)
- Experience working with Databricks is big plus.
