Key Responsibilities

Visual Design & Brand

• Lead end-to-end design of digital assets including web, mobile, social media, and marketing collateral
• Develop and evolve brand identity systems, design languages, and style guides
• Produce high-fidelity prototypes, mockups, and visual concepts for product and marketing teams
• Ensure design consistency across all brand touchpoints and communication channels
• Present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders and leadership

AI-Powered Design Workflows

• Integrate AI tools into design pipelines to accelerate ideation, iteration, and production
• Use generative AI platforms (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion) to explore creative concepts
• Apply AI-assisted tools for image enhancement, background removal, and content-aware editing
• Leverage AI copywriting tools to align visual and textual narratives seamlessly
• Stay current with emerging AI design trends and evaluate new tools for team adoption

Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive creative feedback
• Partner with product managers, marketers, and engineers to translate briefs into outstanding designs
• Facilitate design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity with deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Visual Design Skills

• Mastery of typography, colour theory, layout, grid systems, and visual hierarchy
• Strong illustration and iconography skills; ability to develop custom visual assets
• Expertise in responsive and adaptive design for web and mobile platforms
• Proficiency in creating motion graphics and micro-animations
• Solid understanding of print design, packaging, and production processes
• Proven ability to create cohesive brand identities and design systems

AI Skills

• Generative AI: Hands-on experience with generative AI image tools:
• Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL·E 3, Stable Diffusion, Leonardo AI
• Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques for consistent, on-brand AI outputs
• Experience using AI for rapid prototyping, mood boarding, and concept exploration
• Knowledge of AI upscaling, inpainting, and style-transfer workflows
• Understanding of ethical AI usage, copyright considerations, and responsible design

Tools & Software

• Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite:
• Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro (Advanced)
• Figma and/or Sketch for UI/UX design and collaborative prototyping
• Adobe Firefly and Generative Fill for AI-enhanced production workflows
• Canva Pro for rapid content creation and team collaboration
• Notion, Asana, or Jira for project and workflow management
• Familiarity with Webflow, Framer, or similar no-code/low-code design tools
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to collaborate effectively with front-end developers

Experience Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional experience in creative/graphic design roles
• A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across brand, digital, and campaign design
• Demonstrated experience working with or integrating AI tools into a professional design workflow
• Experience in an agency, in-house creative team, or fast-paced startup environment preferred
• Track record of delivering design projects from concept through to final production

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Equivalent work experience or self-taught portfolio will be considered
• Professional certifications in Adobe Creative Suite, Google UX Design, or AI design tools are a plus
