About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and drive data-driven innovation in industrial and manufacturing environments. In this role, you will develop and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support sustainability initiatives.
You will work at the intersection of data analysis, machine learning, and engineering—transforming complex industrial data into actionable insights and scalable production solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models to optimize industrial processes, improve performance, and support decision-making.
- Analyze large and complex datasets (including time-series and sensor data) to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows for data processing, feature engineering, and model deployment.
- Create clear and impactful visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor and improve model performance over time, addressing issues such as drift, data quality, and reliability.
- Contribute to the development of scalable data and analytics infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Support initiatives related to energy efficiency, sustainability, and COâ‚‚ reduction through advanced analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in exploratory data analysis and working with complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience in developing and applying machine learning or statistical models in practical use cases.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience with data analysis and visualization libraries (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
- Experience with data architectures such as databases, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, or TensorFlow.
- Understanding of industrial processes or experience working in manufacturing/heavy industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Polish is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with time-series data and industrial process monitoring.
- Experience building dashboards using tools like Streamlit or Dash.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Experience in sustainability, energy optimization, or COâ‚‚ reduction projects.
- Knowledge of cement, asphalt, or concrete production processes.
