Job Description

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to join our team and take part in the maintenance, configuration, administration, and development of Linux-based database systems.

Main Tasks:

• installation and maintenance on the system (databases)
• handling network problems on Linux systems
• understanding of operation and support on Kubernetes
• monitoring, recognising and reacting to problems

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Linux system administration, preferably with Debian.
• Solve non-trivial tasks with the help of scripts in Bash, Perl or Python.
• Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• git/familiar with gitOps workflows
• Container and Kubernetes Fundamentals
• Designing and operating HA/distributed systems.
• Good knowledge in configuration management/ automation with puppet and/or ansible.
• In-depth knowledge of networking.
• Database fundamentals (MariaDB, Redis).
