We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with solid experience in cloud technologies and Infrastructure-as-Code, who also brings working knowledge of database systems. This hybrid role supports the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and database services in a large-scale corporate environment.
The ideal candidate has previously worked in DevOps roles, with proven ability to automate, monitor, and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform and ARM templates, primarily in Azure Public Cloud and Azure Local (formerly Azure HCI) environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, and other DevOps tools.
Operate within hybrid environments (on-prem & cloud) to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and database teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Monitor and manage key database systems (Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) from a DevOps perspective – ensuring integration, availability, and basic performance tuning.
Optimize infrastructure cost and efficiency, while maintaining compliance with security and operational standards.
Act as escalation point for incidents related to infrastructure and DB integration.
Support project teams in technical delivery and environment setup.
Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong background in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineering (minimum 2–3 years).
Hands-on experience with Azure Public Cloud, Azure Local (Azure HCI), and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Advanced use of Terraform and ARM templates for resource deployment and automation.
Familiarity with at least one database technology such as Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra – especially from an infrastructure and integration point of view.
Good understanding of operating systems: Windows and preferably Linux.
Experience working in large-scale corporate/enterprise environments with complex infrastructure landscapes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
