Backend Developer

We are seeking experienced Backend Developers to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining core modules, APIs, and various services essential to our platform. This role requires a strong understanding of backend development principles, experience with RESTful APIs, SQL databases, and a commitment to secure and clean coding practices. You will play a crucial role in developing complex systems related to procurement, ERP, financial workflows, and document-heavy applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement core backend modules and services
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs for seamless integration
• Develop workflow services, business rules, and specialized services for tender, supplier, planning, and evaluation processes
• Write efficient and maintainable SQL queries and manage database interactions
• Implement unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Adhere to secure coding standards and best practices
• Apply clean architecture principles to create scalable and maintainable solutions
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4-8 years of professional experience in backend development
• Proficiency in backend development languages and frameworks (specific languages can be added if known)
• Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Expertise in SQL and database management
• Solid understanding and practical application of unit testing methodologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of secure coding practices
• Experience with clean architecture principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with procurement systems, ERP solutions, or financial workflow applications
• Familiarity with developing and managing document-heavy systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
