What you will do:
- Own Passenger Acquisition & Retention: You’ll be responsible for key metrics and driving growth through smart marketing strategies.
- Lead a Cross-Functional Team: You’ll manage a matrixed marketing team and collaborate closely with departments like Business Development, Marketplace Efficiency, Driver Operations, and Product to deliver results.
- Optimize Marketing Campaigns: Analyze the performance of digital, media, and car branding strategies to continuously improve our marketing mix and maximize ROI.
- Manage Budget: Oversee the marketing budget for Brazil and ensure it is allocated efficiently to achieve our business objectives.
- Growth Hacking: Generate creative hypotheses and run tests to identify innovative ways to accelerate growth.
- Brand Positioning: Lead efforts to adapt and communicate our global brand guidelines while ensuring local relevance and resonance.
- Creative Oversight: Oversee the creation of marketing materials that really speak to the local culture and vibe, making sure they grab attention and connect with our audience.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships that align with our marketing objectives and drive business growth.
- Market Insights: Conduct research to understand the local audience, identify new trends, and inform marketing strategies.
What we expect from you:
- Experience: 5+ years in digital consumer marketing with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading multicultural teams, especially in a matrixed environment. You know how to motivate and influence others to drive results.
- Mobile Product Expertise: Hands-on experience marketing mobile products is required (preferably apps).
- Fast-Paced Project Management: You’ve managed multiple projects at once and can work in a fast-paced environment without missing deadlines.
- Data & Strategy: Strong ability to analyze data, generate insights, and use those insights to develop and adjust marketing strategies.
- Bilingual: You’re comfortable communicating in both English and Spanish at a professional level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Familiarity with e-commerce, ride-hailing, or delivery-related industries.
- Regional Launch Experience: You’ve been involved in launching new regions, whether at a city or country level and understand how to adapt strategies to local markets.
