At IndieBI we are building business intelligence tools to help developers and publishers of PC and Console games manage their commercial operations more efficiently. IndieBI is still in beta, but we have a growing community of 300+ games companies utilizing the software. Additionally, we are also building the dedicated account management team that provides exclusive high-profile service, tailored to the different needs of video game developers and publishers.
You match the role if:
- Are proficient in Python, SQL and Polars/Pandas for data manipulation, processing, analysis and development of data-driven apps.
- Are experienced in deploying APIs and data applications.
- Have hands-on experience with Data Science libraries and ML frameworks, such as NumPy, Scitkit-learn, Prophet, Keras, etc. and skills in model development, deployment, and optimization.
- Have a research experience and research-oriented mindset, capable of exploring new methods, tools, or models.
- Possess a strong background in data science with a focus on predictive modeling, data-driven solutions, and research-oriented exploration of new methods and tools.
- Are familiar with version control practices using Git.
- Communicate complex insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Present a positive approach to problem-solving and learning new concepts in a constantly evolving work environment.
- Have outstanding communication skills in English (both spoken and written);
It's a plus if you:
- Have a basic knowledge of scraping process, tools and libraries.
- Have experience with Databricks, AzureML, Spark and Neural Networks.
- Have worked in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Have passion for and understanding of the gaming industry.
- Are skilled with cloud solutions, preferably Azure.

We will want you to:
- Design, implement, and optimize predictive models tailored to client-specific use cases.
- Analyze game sales and market data collected from clients by our software and provide actionable insights to support decision-making for both internal teams and clients.
- Build and deploy data-driven applications, tools and scripts to support our client-oriented consulting operations and sales funnel.
- Document data processing workflows, model details, and software solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve model performance in production environments to meet client requirements.
- Communicate findings, challenges, and project updates effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
