About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at indie.io, you will drive the evolution of our game publishing web platform by designing and developing cutting-edge data analytics, organization, and integration tools. In an environment where challenges often lack a predefined playbook, our engineering team aims to be highly-collaborative and adaptable to tackle these unique problems with innovative, technology-agnostic solutions. Your expertise will shape scalable, high-impact systems that empower our platform to thrive in the gaming industry.

What you'll do

• Be an impactful member of an efficient engineering team
• Build web-based features using NextJS, Typescript, Python and a variety of data tools
• Leverage AWS to provide a performant, reliable web platform
• Experiment with new technology to maintain a modern tech stack
• Plan for scalability to support rapid growth
• Contribute to roadmap planning and daily standups

Who you are

• Experienced software engineer with 5+ years as a professional
• Track record of launching high-quality software features (ideally Typescript)
• Hands-on experience using AWS or other cloud platforms
• Excited to experiment with modern tools and technologies
• Effective communicator, especially within the team and engineering discussions
