Digital Marketing Specialist - Contract

_We’re hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist for a high-impact contract role within a global CPG organization. This is a unique opportunity to lead digital transformation workstreams within a dynamic business unit, driving the end-to-end digitization of marketing. This includes leading the adoption of digital marketing capabilities across consumer engagement, innovation, and performance measurement, with an emphasis on expanding AI and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted digital advisor and strategic partner to marketing leadership and teams
- Develop and execute strategies that leverage digital technologies, AI, and automation to enhance marketing effectiveness
- Lead the end-to-end digitization of marketing for the BU, including the prioritization, planning, and implementation of digital capabilities
- Align marketing analytics, technology, and AI initiatives with business objectives and strategic priorities
- Drive cross-functional alignment across marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure adoption and sustained use of digital tools
- Advocate for user-centricity by engaging local stakeholders, collecting feedback, and promoting continuous improvement
- Lead deployment of tailored products, ensuring successful rollout and measurable outcome
- Ensure timely validation, sign-off, and success tracking of digital initiatives by stakeholders
- Act as the primary liaison between Marketing and global operations/technology teams, managing risks, resolving issues, and unlocking opportunities
- Identify and champion opportunities to leverage AI and automation for growth, productivity, and operational efficiency
Requirements
Skills:
- Proven experience leading digital marketing transformation in a complex, matrixed organization. CPG experience strongly preferred
- Deep digital acumen, with hands-on understanding of modern marketing tech stacks, AI, and automation
- Strong business acumen, with an ability to quickly understand business unit goals and translate them into digital strategies
- Exceptional program and project management skills with a track record of delivering business outcomes
- Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of the organization
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of marketing, technology, and business operations
Position Details
- Contract/Part-time: 30 hours/week
