Index Analytics seeks a Release Train Engineer (RTE) / Agile Coach to support Government contracts. For this position, primary responsibilities include facilitating ART events and processes, assisting teams in delivering value, managing risks and impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires a deep understanding of Lean-Agile principles and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison and coach across the Agile Release Train, government product owners and business owners, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and others to optimize the flow of value through the ART and accelerate the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
Work with leadership (e.g., program directors and project managers) monitoring the development and implementation of new programs and features including agendas, meeting minutes and deliverables
Champion a culture of experimentation and innovation while ensuring clear, effective communication across the ART and with internal and external stakeholders, aligning teams toward shared objectives and outcomes.
Facilitate Government customer meetings between Baltimore and Washington D.C.
Strong reporting skills using Confluence and JIRA for backlog, program increment progress, velocity, predictability and more
Focus on standardization for the ART based on product support needs and best practices on delivery of clear picture.
Proactively manage ART-level risks, impediments, and inter-team dependencies, working closely with stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve complex issues that could threaten delivery progress.
Drive relentless improvements for the ART
Fostering collaboration between teams and stakeholders
Optimizing the flow of value through the ART
Share insights with the leadership group and stakeholders
Manage expectations to protect the ART and teams
Provide targeted mentorship and support to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, ART leaders, and team members as needed to strengthen skills, foster collaboration, and meet ongoing operational needs.
