Summary Objective
The Sr. Marketing Manager will lead the VTE marketing efforts across the EMEA region. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive market growth and establish the company as a leader in VTE solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the medical devices landscape and exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team of marketing professionals. Responsibilities include bridging the gap between global strategy and local execution, ensuring the sales teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive EMEA marketing strategy for VTE products, aligning with global objectives and adapting to regional market nuances.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify opportunities and develop innovative marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, events, and educational programs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment with clear performance expectations and professional growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with local sales teams to understand market dynamics and tailor marketing initiatives accordingly.
- Develop and deliver effective sales enablement tools and training programs to equip sales teams with the knowledge and resources to execute marketing strategies successfully.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all EMEA markets.
- Lead the cross-functional collaboration for successful new product introduction launches in the EMEA region, from MDR submission through to commercial availability.
- Partner with Demand Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and timely product availability.
- Collaborate with US Strategic Marketing to define and refine the value proposition and target market for new products.
- Develop and implement comprehensive educational programs for healthcare professionals and sales teams, ensuring effective training on VTE treatment and new product features.
- Collaborate with commercial marketing teams and clinical research teams in the US to execute the marketing campaigns surrounding new clinical study data releases in the EMEA region.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and vendor management for key industry events, congresses, and symposia, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical affairs and clinical teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of educational content.
- Develop and manage the EMEA VTE marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including ROI on expenditures, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Required Qualifications
_Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing, Life Sciences, or Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 810 years of marketing and/or sales experience in the medical devices, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sector, with a focus on product marketing, brand management, or commercial strategy.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience managing a team or department.
- Proven track record of developing and executing regional marketing strategies in EMEA, aligning with global objectives.
- Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization, collaborating across sales, regulatory, medical affairs, and supply chain teams.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products, including market analysis, commercial readiness, and sales enablement.
- Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory and compliance requirements, including MDR, GDPR, and local healthcare marketing guidelines.
- Experience in budget management, ROI analysis, and marketing performance measurement.
- Fluent in English, proficiency in one or more European languages is a plus.
