Job Title: Senior .NET Software Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and evolution of scalable, high-performance applications. This role goes beyond coding, requiring strong ownership of solution architecture, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration across distributed teams. The ideal candidate will bring modern development practices, cloud expertise, and the ability to contribute to technical strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end design and development including solution conceptualization, analysis, development, testing, and integration

• Drive architectural decisions, technical discussions, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)

• Actively contribute to user story creation, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies

• Monitor, track, and resolve defects within sprint timelines; provide post-production support

• Identify technical debt and contribute to modernization and migration efforts

• Troubleshoot production issues using logs and debugging tools

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and propose optimized solutions considering trade-offs

• Contribute to improving team productivity, design standards, and engineering practices

• Serve as a technical mentor and actively support peers in problem-solving

Skills, Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development using .NET technologies

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments

• Proven track record in designing scalable and maintainable systems

• Experience working in distributed/global teams

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Technical Skillset:

Must Have:

• Strong expertise in C#, .NET (preferably latest versions like .NET 10)

• Experience with SQL Server and database performance optimization

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks

• Azure cloud platform experience

• Debugging, logging, and production troubleshooting skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have:

• Experience with NoSQL databases

• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools/platforms

• Experience in system design, architecture discussions, and POCs
