Compensation: Up to €180,000 (negotiable for the right person)

The Opportunity

As a Staff Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and executing the technical direction across teams. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, design for resilience, and deliver systems that scale globally, while mentoring engineers to do the best work of their careers.

You will:

• Lead large-scale, cross-team engineering initiatives and shape technical roadmaps.
• Design and optimise architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Identify and resolve systemic bottlenecks that impact product delivery.
• Mentor and elevate engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and fearless iteration.

About You

• 8+ years in software engineering with proven experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives.
• Python/Typescript experience is advantageous, however, any technical background will suit.
• Strong architectural vision paired with hands-on technical depth.
• Confident navigating ambiguity and simplifying large-scale technical challenges.
• Motivated by high standards, ownership, and customer-focused outcomes.
